SO WHAT IS ARTHRITIS?!

Arthritis is a broad term for conditions that cause inflammation and stiffness in the joints, leading to pain, swelling, and reduced mobility. The most common types are osteoarthritis, caused by wear and tear on joint cartilage, and rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune condition where the immune system attacks joint tissues. Arthritis can affect people of all ages and significantly impact quality of life.

Exercise and stretching are highly beneficial for managing arthritis. Regular physical activity helps maintain joint flexibility, reduce stiffness, and strengthen the muscles surrounding the joints. Stronger muscles provide better support and reduce the load on the joints, alleviating pain. Exercise also boosts circulation, delivering nutrients to the cartilage and helping to reduce inflammation.
